Welcome to the Washington state affiliate of AMATYC, the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges. WAMATYC is a nonprofit educational association established in 1986 to unite mathematics faculty and support mathematics education at community and technical colleges throughout Washington state.

To advance state-level work around the statistics pathway, the Washington Math Pathways to Completion leadership team co-chair Dr. Helen Burn will host Stat Chat from 2-3 PM for two consecutive Fridays, March 2nd and 9th, 2018, via Zoom Video Conferencing. Liz Hylton from COCC in Oregon is wrapping up her term serving as the AMATYC Northwest Regional VP and AMATYC Board member. Special thanks to Liz for her hard work and service! Sarah Pauley from Western Wyoming Community College will be serving as our new Northwest Region VP for AMATYC starting in 2018. With any luck, Sarah will be able to join us at both the WA Math and ORMATYC conferences to see first hand all the great work being done in the PNW.
